Forums - Sony - New PS Move Ad Trash Talks The Wii

what is this BHR?? I agree it's not very nice, normally I support all things move as I played it and yes it's more precise tham WM but Sony couldn't you just show the game off like iWaggle does with table tennis, that would show off how move is different honestly!!

it's the future of handheld

I still don't understand this. It can't do anything WMplus can't do.
sub millimetre tracking and all the ps eye features hows that for you.

So hoooow is it going to be better? But I guess Nintendo fans thought the Wiimotes would be perfect too. After it's released to the public, the problems will start showing themselves.
true but if we go by all the people who have used it, it doesn't same like the move has much to worry about.

Same with Kinect. Low budget games that don't impliment the motion controls very well will pop up everywhere for PS3 and 360 owners.
Yeah shovel ware probably will be a problem.

Light sources will cause interference.

And the games that do provide true 1:1 movements won't be very popular because people will discover very quickly that they don't want to be up and moving around every time they play games. Nintendo has learned this, which is why a lot of games don't even use WMplus.
that may be true but RTS's disagree with you.

Motion controled gaming doesn't need to be anything more than an IR pointer and a wrist flick.
maybe not but what if we want more of a challenge and the availability of a learning curve.

I personally prefer the wrist flick. It's quick and easy, and I don't look like an idiot doing it. That being said, I could be eating my words in a couple weeks here, but I doubt it.

correct me if I am wrong
stop me if I am bias
I love a good civilised debate (but only if we can learn something).

Companies trash talk each other. Thats just how it is.

Considering Move and Wii use an approach that is similar to get motion control, but Move is supposed to be more accurate, how is Sony going to run ads that make Move be something to get without people going... "Sony is taking a shot at the Wii again!"?

Isn't Sony supposed to pitch how their approach is superior?  This isn't like Kinect where you pitch the experience is different, you have to pitch that the experience is superior.

Anyone want to explain how?

                                                                      Play Me

yes, let's tyr and trash talk the company that's been pounding us for the past four years, that'll work out great.

I have been playing sword fighting, boxing, tennis and archery in the same way they as they are doing in this add and in the gameplay for at least one year. Sony is releasing only rehashes  of Wii games but with anti-aliasing and sometime blood.

Moreover I have some technical complains about Move (please correct me if I'm wrong):

1) No motion sensor in its "nunchuk" (decreases immersion)

2) No 4 players playing any game like FPS in a split screen mode. (remember local multi-player in one of the keys of the Wii success)

3) No speaker in the controls  (decreases even more immersion)

4) No memory internal memory to carry my avatar in the control

5) No removable batteries (I will have to change the control every time the battery's energy goes down?)

Until Sony release something completely revolutionary and different from anything else like the Wii Remote/ Wii sports was in the past I'm not going to support Move and the PS3.
