Forums - Sony - Kung Fu Rider KILLING Move launch - BAD publicity, complete disaster

If anything, this will draw more 3rd parties to it. They don't want to make games that they have no possible chance of outselling 1st party titles. It makes them look bad.

I'd much rather play it myself and decide. A lot of reviewers said Pain sucked and I find that game to be fantastic. This game reminded me so much of Pain. Maybe they can fix controls with a patch?

Don't think so... It's a really bad game. Trust me, I've played it on Gamescom. Don't buy it!

if it had terrible reviews then it must be a good game!, i've always enjoyed the niche games more than the overrated ones.

I think there is a real point to make here, possibly. As others have said: Red Steel was hyped like crazy, and when it didn't perform well, Wii FPS games have been doomed to hell ever since.

I don't follow Move, so I don't know how anticipated this title is, but it could very well have some effect. The only difference is that we're talking about Sony, not Nintendo. Nintendo has always been doomed doomed doomed forever. Even with the PS3 falling incredibly short of expectations, developers still cling to it and produce games for it, never giving up hope. It's the exact opposite story for Nintendo, exact opposite.

After thinking all of this through now, I think this game won't hurt at all. We're talking about Sony, not Nintendo. This game will be merely brushed aside with plenty of kickass games to cover it up in the near future, so don't worry.

All the people i know seem to share the sentiment that wow Move looks cool but give us real games for it. And honestly noone really cares about kung-fu riders. KZ3 move support is currently most hot discussion.

looool, this thread is an epic fail. One game killing Move? Sure dude...

And btw... Wii has tons of shovelware, but it raped the 360 and PS3 in sales.

Sony should just upended the tea table and put the game back in development until it's good.

I'm heartbroken, because it looked so awesome and Sega-like.

But really, one game killing the whole launch? I think you're massively overstating it.

well, don't be like that.

i want to know something about the nintendo 3ds nds games , it need R4 cards..R4..R4...ps3 jailbreak is so cool.

If I were Sony, I wouldn't release this or atleast delay it until it becomes tolerable.

This is one of the most panned 1st party games this gen and its a launch title for their new device. Not a smart move.
