Zero Mission and Prime 3 are up there too.

It's funny how there is three people (or almost) to have the exact same order so far. It must mean something. o_O

I voted for Metroid Prime 2 - although I spose i was thinking of the play on the Wii version

incredible controls, fuckin fun multiplayer, has the best atmosphere, decent plot.

Only thing I didn't like was having ammo for beam weapons

I liked Zero Mission, the most.  It was flawless.  And since everybody else is doing it, here's my list:

1. Metroid: Zero Mission

6. Metroid 2: The Return of Samus

-But, at the moment, I'm in LOVE with Other M.  Based on the little bit I've played, it should fall in between Corruption and Metroid Prime (because I automatically love 3rd person more than 1st person but I recognize how well done the Prime series is).  Metroid is my favorite series from Nintendo!  I wish it appealed to more people.  It's a gamers game.

Hrm... does the Wii's Virtual Console version of Super Metroid count? No? Hrm... Fusion, then? To me, Metroid is better as a 3rd person series; there are more than enough FPS games (which I don't care for) that Metroid did not need to go there with the Prime set. Though I also thought Fusion was way too linear... guess that's what I think about the past 10 years...

(For the curious, 2nd would go to Pinball. Fun little game, but it also doesn't really have the Metroid feel...)
