Hrm... does the Wii's Virtual Console version of Super Metroid count? No? Hrm... Fusion, then? To me, Metroid is better as a 3rd person series; there are more than enough FPS games (which I don't care for) that Metroid did not need to go there with the Prime set. Though I also thought Fusion was way too linear... guess that's what I think about the past 10 years...
(For the curious, 2nd would go to Pinball. Fun little game, but it also doesn't really have the Metroid feel...)
