I guess you missed the announcement earlier this year about Monster Hunter Frontier on 360, though thats just a simple PC port with no confirmed state release yet (as far as I know) so technically it's already on HD consoles.

Doubt it. Capcom's got the PSP version coming (or did it already release?), and my guess is that after that they're gonna set their sights square on the 3DS, given that Nintendo was so helpful with localization, and 3DS could at least match the visual acuity of the PSP games which is the series real bread-and-butter still
