When I saw the name Earth Defence Force, I did think of Red faction Guerilla. Dont think EDF 2017 is that well known

about time humanities greatest accomplishment get a sequel,

4-player splitscreen is the only extra I'd like to see, online is a nice bonus but unnecessary.

also so more awesome would be nice, though 2017 had more than most people could handle anyway

If this one actually hits the states I would be super excited, Earth Defense Force 2 came out on the PS2 and is Japan only, hopefully this new one will be multiplat and hit the states as well.
