@bmbb1 point taking, but regarding Extraction, why would they charge PS3 owners full price for such an old game??? that would kinda kill the point of releasin it in the first place for PS3. especially when you can get the game in the bargain bin for Wii, UNLESS they add a bunch of stuff, then I could see the problem

Another gimped version of a Wii game that is going to sell like crap...

Albion - Its Fun as Ballz !!!!!

I am somewhat pissed by the EA choices with this title, but I am waiting for more info to pass judgement.

If the game comes to the HD consoles as a digital version with only the clasic mode with online for 20 dollars I'll be fine because they are getting half a game for almost half the price, and they could not resell the game and will not have the box and disc.

If the game comes to the HD consoles as a retail version with all the modes and online for 60 dollars, I'll also be ok because its fair, full game = full price.

BUT if the game comes with all the modes and online as digital download for anything less than 40 dollars I will be seriously piss off, because then they will be ripping off the Wii consumer charging extra for an inferior version.

EA doing their best to make the 360/PS3 fully-featured

I'll tell you, we're doing everything in our power to get as much on there as possible. I mean, we had online up. It was a really basic online feature set. We're trying to blow that out. And then you get Remix. We're trying to throw it all in there. Right now, I mean, we got this bomb dropped on us just a couple of days ago as well. So, we're shuffling to get everything together, but we got a great team. We got a lot of stuff up and working. We're going to polish it up, and we're gonna get it out there before holidays. And its really up to you. If you want to hang out with your friends and use gesture controls, you got it on the Wii. If you want to go online and you want that HD experience, you go on the PS3/360. - NBA Jam's Trey Smith

Basically: If you want waggle buy the wii version, if you the complete version buy the 360/PS3 version.

Maybe, but I noticed a small something here (though he may have meant nothing by it ) - notice the "if you want to hang out with your friends" part. Could he heave meant that the Wii version will lhave offline multiplayer and no online, while the HD version will have online but not offline multiplayer? That's what his choice of words implies. Most probably though he wasn't too picky with his choice of words and he didn't mean what I read into it.

To each his own, although your idea of "complete" varies from mine.  I prefer "complete" controls rather than controllers that rely on old techonology and are a generation behind, and I prefer in-home multiplayer vs play-in-solitude on-line.  See how people can spin that?  :D

It sucks that it doesn't have online for Wii... then again it probably would've been good online on wii thats kinda what one of the developers said..."why make a medicore online MP for the Wii?" (it was said in a video of bonus round) So obviously their logic was... spend money on making a crappy online MP for Wii or save money and not make a crappy online MP for Wii... good decision... also I imagine that it was possible to make a good online MP for Xbox 360 and PS3 because of the online support of the HD consoles... while Wii's online wasn't good enough.

Im not trying to um cause any trouble... just saying what I think happened based on the developers mouth and what happened.

All gaming systems, consoles/PC, have thier perks... why fight over preferences? I like Coke and you like Pepsi, that's it, let's not fight over which toy we like best cause that's what they are. Is someone's preference in a toy important or is the relationship between you and your neighbor more important? Answer is obvious, but THE most important thing is your relationship with God almighty. God Bless you in Jesus's name.

I can communicate without talking... I can send a loved one money without actually sending money... and I can commit theft without the product disappearing, the point of theft is the point of theft not one of it's possible symptoms which is the product dissappearing. The thief wants to gain something without paying for it, that's the point of theft, the thief doesn't have to care or anybody else has to care if the product dissappears. The product dissappearing is just a possible symptom of theft. Gifts are sacrfices, in order to give a gift, it has to be a genuine sacrfice/gift, meaning a copy of the game isn't still in your PC. Piracy is theft and/or being a culprit of theft.

Other games have online play that work just fine. Including EA's Fifa 11 (11 vs 11 players on the field). You're saying that they couldn't make NBA Jam work online??

Other EA games also have online play that work just fine (EA doesn't use Nintendo's Wi-Fi, they have their own online system).

They chose not to, so there it is.

BTW, the developers didn't say anything about the online being crappy. That's you saying that.

Defensive much? I'm just being real. I'm not being a jerk

And nope... The developer said it not me... when asked about online missing on the Wii version... he basically said if they did... it would've been medicore.

Why are you talking aout EA games? Were talking about the Wii version of NBA Jam.... I didnt say a good online experiene wasn't possible on Wii... just that the developer thought that FOR the Wii version of NBA Jam and canned the idea.
