You can't technically disable debug mode since the repair shops/various outlets like when they install custom firmware for the demo PS3s and well the updates only change how to access it and try to make it more complicated much like the PSP updates. It all uses debug mode to install programs that aren't supposed to be there, eventually with PS3 they'll likely make custom firmware that acts like the PSP custom firmware.

a 2 TB HDD is 100€ ... that's 500 DVDs or 40 BR discs, price wise it's very affordable and oh so much more practical.

well the article says there's an Iphone dev team...

but that'll be for jailbreak Iphones only (legal in the US... so there could be a case for legal jailbreak consoles..).
