No. The new firmware out now (3.42) disable the USB debug/test feature used by Jailbreaker.

And the next version of the jailbreak will enable it again. You know, like PSP.

I guess no... Jailbreak does't use his own hack... use the hack from Sony (the hack program was from Sony) and the Firmware 3.42 disable it.

You can't technically disable debug mode since the repair shops/various outlets like when they install custom firmware for the demo PS3s and well the updates only change how to access it and try to make it more complicated much like the PSP updates.  It all uses debug mode to install programs that aren't supposed to be there, eventually with PS3 they'll likely make custom firmware that acts like the PSP custom firmware.
