And deny billions of countless future lives the chance to live?

Take your turn to live life and when your time is up, it's up. Time for someone else to have their time here.

If they're not concieved/born you're not denying them anything.

Denying the future, something that hasn't come to pass yet, is still denying the future, something that could have been.

You and I just have different view points on life, and it's fine. =P

Lot's of things could have been. Not everything can "be". Some things have never "be" so that others may "be". The child that a woman might have concived with her high school sweethear will never come to be when they break up when she lives for college. Should they give up persuing a college education get married and make their inexistent child "be"?

There's a difference between affecting which future lives live, and stopping any from ever living. Of course every action that we take potentially changes the future, unless of course there is no free will and everything's pre-ordained by our natures.

By saying no more children, you're denying all future life, not just changing smaller bits of it. Anyways, I said this all casually and in no way meant to get into some sort of philisophical debate. =P

Yeah, but if we;d be immortal, then their existence would be unnecessary.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Both of my grandfathers died before I was born.

Pixel Art can be fun.

My sympathies bro. Remember his life and the good times and try not to put yourself down. I have been in your boat and it takes time. Again very sorry.

I'm sorry to hear this. My condolences. It's always horrible when someone close to you passes away. It's hard now but time is the great healer. Just remember, your memory of him is never passing and the experiences you had together are everlasting.

I suppose the best way to honour him is to remember what he taught you and live your life.

My sympathies...

My dad's adoptive father passed away last year and I haven't seen him in years. My dad called for me to speak with him one last time but I wasn't home. But you know what? I don't beat myself over it. I just think of my childhood memories with him and I cherish those.

I hope you don't feel guilty over that... My condolences. *Big hugs*
