Bungie already answered this question by no longer developing exclusive titles for MS. And to say Halo would only sell ok on PS3 is moronic.

Depends on how many PS3-only owners are fanboys.  Seriously, if they have any sense, they would be highly interested and it would sell quite well.  I personally would be surprised if a ton of Xbox owners shunned Uncharted, MGS4 or GoWIII if they were ported.  Quality is quality and hopefully in the end that would matter more to PS3-only owners than some perverse sense of ... loyalty?  Is it even appropriate to call it that?  Doesn't feel right.  Anyway, Bioshock ...

Anyway, this is all a hypothetical and would never, ever happen so its impossible to ever know for sure.  But FFXIII is definitely not a good example to use as a basis for this discussion.

I got a better scenario for you...If a Final Fantasy XIII was an action WRPG and didn't have happy-go-retarded characters and dialoge but an actual wetern type of narritive... would it sell more on the 360?

it would get 2 million sales. if ps3 owners wanted to play halo they would get one. i dont know any ps3 owner which likes halo.

What are you trying to imply with the FFXIII selling more on PS3? That 360 owners didn't embrace it as much? One because it wasn't released WW, two because it was well documented as the inferior version, three it got lukewarm reviews and four 360 owners prefer western style games.

I think a lot of people that want want to play Halo would have played it by now by either buying a 360 or playing it at their mates house. I think a lot of PS3 owners might buy it out of the novelty and curiosity factor (in no small part generated by the hype).

you must only know fanboy playstation 3 owners. I got a bunch of friends who only have ps3s and have a blast playing halo at my house. They just don't see it as such a must have to buy a 360 just for it. They would defenitly get it if it came out for the ps3 though. Likewise my friends with only 360s, love playing god of war 3 and uncharted 2 at my house, and would buy them if they came out for the 360. Im not saying it would have the same sales on the ps3. But half of them is very possible.

Alot, everyone is scrambling to Mass Effect after calling "Mass Defect" and everyone worshiped Bioshock when they "didn't care about it". The bad thing is that a game like Resistance would bomb in Halo's wake.
