I guess whenever i think of japan i think of JRPGs.

How about Konami, Capcom,Sega ?

They feel that they don't need to listen to U.S or EUROPE since the ps3 is selling the best in japan in relative terms, they think they're going in the right direction and the U.S/Europe is just trying to make things worse

And they don't even make good games. Wait...they don't even make games.

Patapon 1/2/3
LocoRoco 1/2
LocoRoco Cocoreccho
Echochrome
Echochrome ii
Echoshift
The last Guardian
Siren: Blood curse
Gran Torsimo 5 plus prologue
Demon's Souls
Pixeljunk series
Eye of Judgment
The Last Guy
Ape escape 4
etc. etc. etc.

Also, level 5 made them WKC 1/2 but those suck soo.... They also seem to have stuff like Tokyo Jungle coming up and some unannounced stuff which was mentioned in this article. AND THAT'S JUST THIS GEN!!!

Personally, SCEJ has made my favorite games of all time this gen. Just because some don't like their games doesn't mean the company has been irrelevant. Also, I think we're only hearing a small portion of the story... I'll wait for SCEJ's response before making any rash conclusions.

Right I forgot about The Eye of Judgment. They're cool then.

PS3:

2 retail releases, one is a demo and the other a big PSN game.

3 PSN releases, one of which are also available at retail.

WKC and DS are not SCEJ games, SCEJ did not develop those games, they only helped. WKC is very much a Level-5 game and Demon's Souls is very much a From Software game.

SCEJ haven't really done much for the PS3 this generation, although that list is without Kung-fu Rider...

SCEJ has been useless this generation

Please remove "C" and "J" for that statement to be accurate.

Even Star Ocean IV was better than Patapon so ner.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Wow.  Seems so obvious looking at PS3 position worldwide and Western gaming habits that SCEA and SCEE should be given control of the social gaming aspects of PSN.

TBH, if I was Sony I'd split PSN into three distinct elements based on what they have today:

1 - online gaming and social aspects

2 - online store

3 - online video store

They could leave PSN store more or less as it is (although that could be improved too) and allow SCEA and SCEE to produce a much tighter set of online gaming/community features built into the XMB/Store and games.

I also think they should work with Google and other players more to really open up the console.  With MS charging for Live if you want Facebook, etc. as well Sony could exploit this by having tight, free integration via XMB to Google, Facebook, Google Earth, etc. which would be pretty cool.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

DS IS! a SCEJ game. End of story. So what if a 3rd party co-developed? Does that mean Metroid: Other M isn't a nintendo game? No...

Demon's Souls is a Sony game, but that doesn't change that Sony didn't make it, and so it doesn't really count when we're talking about what they have created this generation...
