um.. incase you didn't know DQX is exclusive to the wii right now, and the wii's main controller is a motion controller.. so I assume it will probably controll like zelda..which uses motion controls rather extensively..

XBOX 360 wouldn't suit it well because it doesn't have a type of motion controller that allows wii like controls, so a port would be harder to do. Unless they decide to just add the traditional controller option to PS3/360 which will kill the point of the game.

As for KH3, I hope it's a PS3/360 game, but after what square has been doing, I assume it's either ganna be 360 exclusive, or Wii exclusive.. if it's only on wii, the move would allow them to port it over to ps3 rather easily..

that's just how I see it, in fact many 3rd parties if move sells well, may start porting future wii games to ps3.

Personally, I think we are too far off to be talking about KH3.  Although I could be proved wrong and have it announced tomorrow, but I think we are a few years away.  Meaning, may not be on any of the current gen systems or announced ones... or just 3DS.  

As for DQX, I'm thinking that Nintendo might have "personal" interest and investment in the series that may just not be official yet.  Hasn't been a DQ game off a Nintendo platform in awhile, so that might be a reason we haven't seen any on other systems.  So while a PS3 and Wii release may not have been such an odd idea (or timed exclusive release on one), it may be exclusive on Wii due to Nintendo.  

Yeah. Although I still do believe DQX would sell better on the PS3 in Japan.

FF XIII sold almost 1.4 million in japan, that is not weak at all.. and DQX released on PS3/WII would be smart, incase you haven't noticed the ps3 has had the highest console JRPG sales period, despite having less than 4 million consoles out there.. and the PS3 has been selling better than the wii hardware wise at least in japan too. So it would be smart to release it on the best selling japanese consoles considering Move would allow an easy port.

As for the west, FF XIII sold ok on the 360, but clearly sold way more on the ps3. So I don't get the point, again like I said in my other post.

In the west:

Europe -- FFXIII PS360 combined has jsut outsold FF8 recently and will definetely outsell FF10 as its not far from it...making it the 2nd best selling FF in Europe

America -- Here FFXIII will easily outsell FF8 eventually making it the 3rd best selling FF in America

They are STRONG sales

Japan -- FFXIII is the weakest selling FF since FF3

They are WEAK sales

This is the first time a FF has had better sales in Eu and NA INDEPENDENTLY (1.95 Million each) than in Japan (1.85 Million).

I just don't see how you are expecting a Dragon Quest title to extensively use motion controls. Every DS comes with a stylus, but I really don't think anybody is playing DQ IX right now with stylus controls, and that's not even quite the same as full on motion controls. You think it's going to be like Zelda just because of the Wiimote?

Easy. Just summon, combo, and shoot IRL. YOU are the controller!
