There is gong to be so much crying for the 360 haters come Reach's launch numbers...lol.  Mark this thread, and my reply, as when the numbers come out, watch them back track and say....well, it's not surprising, since it is Halo, and that's what drives the 360, eventhough since LAST year for ODST's launch, they said Halo Reach would sell only 6-7 million LTD...just watch.

With the hype and marketing for this game, I wouldn't be surprised if this game is considered the killer app of the Xbox 360, and indeed, might become the highest selling game on the console.

I hate Halo and I just fucking preordered this shit.

I haven't preordered a game in 3 years, and I haven't even preordered Fallout New Vegas, or Fable, and those franchises are my shit.

This is exactly what I was talking about earlier in this thread. I've read quite a few similar comments here and elsewhere. Even people that don't like Halo (and at least one who downright hates it) are interested in it. Gonna be so effin massive.

exactly, I can't believe how many people come in every day and pre-order this game, people that aren't even Halo fans are demanding it.

Dude I literally am having to turn people away that are trying to get legendary's and systems and it sucks.

While this is the rumor, I will believe it when I see it.  Bungie may make a new IP in the meantime but i honestly believe they will come back to the Haloverse at some point in time.  They know it better than anyone else and I have high hopes they will indeed return to it.  If I am mistaken, then only time will tell.

 

Either way this games going to be  a blast and I can only hope their new IP lives up to this one.  And if it does its going to be awesome.
