what i mean is the pirated version works on my laptop at the highest settings, while the original version doesnt. and some how some way the pirated version which im buying has multiplayer. if it didnt i woudnt even consider getting it :P. only reason im not getting it original is because of its high price. im ok with 60$ buy 80$ is to much for a pc game, ps3 games here are 70$ i dont know why starcraft 2 shoudnt be.

I never heard of a pirated version with multiplayer. They'd have to own many servers for the leagues data alone. Without the leagues, the multiplayer loses most of it's appeal. And what about the updates?

Another thing is, Starcraft 2 is a game that will go for at least a decade. Competitive gaming will be almost entirely concentrated on Starcraft 2. Paying an extra $10 for a game that will last you 10 years is definitely better than paying the same price for Assassin's Creed, which only lasts a week.

Starcraft 2 is also 60 euros where I live, which is also around $78. I won't stop me buying it this or next month.


i might but it pirated then download skirmish. il see what il do, hopefully i can find at other shops for cheaper, virging always sell games at a high price. im not much of a compettitive gamer, i only play dota games on my laptop, nothing else, i also barely play 2 per day. i know its worth my money but with so many things coming out il have to see. also i dont know if its going to work on my laptop or not. im planning to get a new one this fall, but i also want to upgrade my console as its having problems.

if only things had price cuts, the wii sells at 350$ higher then its launch price :P.

And Treyarch is making the game so they're obviously not using IW.net....

PC gamers have absolutely nothing to do with that.

Thats why I love Shio...Anything on the Pc is a goft from god.

I personally won't be touching Black Ops with a 6 foot pole, dedicated servers or not...


I have still not forgotten Treyarch's past failures. And since IW is now dead, I will not be buying any more Call of Duty games.

Call of Duty is dead to me. Long live Medal of Honor, Battlefield, Counter-Strike etc...

that doesn't make sense the retail and pirated version should run exactly the same, and how do you know how they would run if you don't have it? Are you sure this "pirated version" is starcraft 2?

What kind of multiplayer beta testing is Activision Blizzard conducting for Black Ops?

Modern Warfare 2 had a closed beta and look how it turned out with server hacks for speed, unlimited nade launchers, and on.

Personally, I spent 2 days of ingame time playing Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer. I got up to level 53 or 54. This time playing MW2 has convinced me to never ever ever purchase another CoD game again.

If I want to play a game that rewards me for time played, then I will pick up an MMO, not some FPS where I have little kids screaming about how godly they are.

MW2 didn't get better than than COD4 on retail, especially considering that retail markets are considerably smaller than when COD4 came out.

MW2 is only available on Steam. When COD4 came out, it was topping charts in several DD stores, including Steam and D2D.

I can't believe you still say the 10m for CoD4 stuff.

Just for the laughs, how many units did MW2 sell on PC according to your sources. Well obviously you have no sources, but anyway, what do you think?
