Killzone 3 was designed for the Joystick? Yet it plays just fine with the Move?
Something tells me it's not really utilizing the Joystick's full potential.
See what I did there?
I am also not buying into hype, I am just stating facts. A game with Motion controls is a Motion game whether it is "Motion-Only" or not. Just because a game is designed to play with something doesn't mean it is the only way it could be played.
Majority of Wii titles could have been done with analog sticks, only the experience would be different depending on what control scheme you are using.
Unless you now want to tell me that the MKWii experience with a Wavebird is the same as the experience with the Wiimote.

Maybe you're right, more of a reason people don't need a Move. Still so much potential with a joystick.
What fact? It was designed from the ground up for the Move and they added joystick support? Who knows if that's true? Nor does it really matter. In the end, its just another PS3 game with support for both joysticks and Move.
MKWii doesn't require motion controls. It just an option. The most popular option since the Wiimote is the standard Wii controller.

The fact that a game with motion controls is a motion control title. If a buddy came over and said: "You got any Move games?", I could pull out either a Move only title or a Move/DS3 title. Both are still Move titles.
Like I said originally, I think you're trying to say that a game needs to be "Motion Controlled Only" to be considered a "Motion Controlled game", which isn't true. Having motion controls as the only option just makes it a "Motion Control Only" title.
Considering how the Move is a peripheral added in 4 years after PS3 launch it would be foolish to start off with a ton of Move only titles. They of course add Joystick controls as well because it broadens the audience willing to purchase it. This is what Nintendo saw with MKWii and look how that turned out compared to previous Mario Kart titles.
I think adding both controls schemes is just flat out a much better idea than forcing just 1 control scheme, especially in titles like shooters.
That is also why I am interested in the Move, besides the fact that I have had a PSEye since Eye of Judgement. I can try out a second control scheme to increase my game's lasting appeal and it will only cost me $50 to do so. As a Wii owner I can say that the experience is different in a game like Metroid Prime or Conduit than it is in Killzone or Halo, and that is because of how you play them. Playing Halo with a Wiimote and Nunchuck would be quite a bit different.
It's not hype that drives the purchase, it is because I actually do enjoy motion controls a lot when they are done right. If I end up not liking them in a game like Socom 4 I will just switch and use a Dualshock 3.
To me that is a smart move.
You are also probably right, Move only titles most likely won't do as well. One because the userbase is smaller, and two because if you don't like how it plays you have nothing to fall back on.
