MKWii supports GC controllers. Most of the best players online use Wavebirds.

Zelda has the GC version option for those who want to play it on the Wii with GC controls.

So does that mean we subtract over 30M in Wiimote title sales now?

Your logic is completely lost on me.

So is yours on what qualifies something as a "Move game", because I thought a "Move game" is a game with Move controls.

MKWii is a Wii game. Wiimote and GC controllers are just options.

Hence, Killzone 3 is a PS3 game. It has joystick and Move support. Is it a Move game per se? Nope.

If someone told me a title was a Move game I would presume Move is required. If I hear a game has Move support, I naturally presume Move is just an option.

Maybe its just context? But in my opinion a true Move title only has Move support. No joysticks.

I think you're trying to debate that for something to be considered a "Move title" it needs to be "Move only".

To me that makes it a "Move Only" title.

Anything with the option for motion controls that hinders the game in no noticable way to me is a motion game. Just because they decide to give alternate control schemes to broaden the potential target audience shouldn't take away from that fact.

Having played Mario Kart Wii, I can absolutely assure you that it IS in fact a motion controlled title or if you choose to call it, a "Wiimote title". It did come bundled with a wheel did it not?

That alone tells your that your definition is flawed. It was marketed as a Wiimote title.

Why are you debating me? I gave you my opinoin already.

If Move support is an option and not required, I don't perceive it as a Move game.

And I'm debating with you because I think you are wrong.

Look, I understand where you're coming from.

We both know Move only games are gonna sell poorly. So calling all games with Move support, "Move games" will make  software sales for the Move seem better.

I'm just saying a true Move game only support the Move.

A fine line between motion control support and motion control required. Hence, I don't perceive it as a motion control game. I perceive it as a game with motion control support.

It came bundled with a wheel because everyone with a Wii owns a Wiimote(s). The motion controls are also part of  the gimmick.

It was actually a joke to those back on the first and second page on this thread.

As for the second sentence, the industry disagrees with you on what is "required" to be percieved and/or considered a "Move" and/or "Wiimote" title.

Lol, you think I'm debating this to make the Move look better in regards to sales?

Anyway, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this, I don't seem to swaying your opinion and you're not swaying mine either.

Okay, well the joke was completely lost on me.

I don't think the industry came together and formed an ultimate opinion. So I'll ignore that.

Store Clerk: "Here you go."

Customer: "Ooo, what about those games over there, are they Move titles?"

Store Clerk: "No, they use the Dualshock controller."

Customer: "But it says Move compatible on the box."

Store Clerk: "Sorry, but you only asked for Move titles and that isn't a Move title, regardless of whether or not it can be payed with the Move."
