Where does it mention yearly? , i don't like monthly crap, i want yearly.

i only play any game 3 times a month or so.

I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...

- Wasteland - The Mission.

Aren't the first 30 days free ? It is for DCU Online. IDK about FF XIV though..

And Dogs > MMOs

I feel that any game that requires you to buy it in stores and then have to pay again just to play it is a rip-off.

Pay-to-Play games should be free to obtain.

Hmm less than I expected, but I'm still on the fence on whether I want to get the game. It will be the first MMO for me if I decide to buy it and I probably won't even notice the fee coming out of my account, but I'm not sure if I can dedicate enough time to to it.....

I'm in the same position as you.

I don't udnerstand the MMO "culture"

Maybe I should stay away from MMO's all together, maybe I shouldn't.

Yea, I I still don't understand how ppl could ever find the time to play them consistently, especially if you're an adult (I feel old saying that).

General MMO questions:

If I start the main story and stop after a few hours (common for me) and revisit the game in a few weeks, would the story have went on without me?

Would I have to get "live" party members everytime I log on to play?

I know all I care about is the story part too and the story doesn't go on without you cus those main quests are always available. But there will be spoilers by then.

I don't understand how people come back to MMO's month after month either, grinding has its limit doesn't it.

I might buy it and get the first month free and finish off the main quest in just that month, I think this is a good plan!

Great idea, I think I'll do this too depending on how long the main story is. Extra quests don't really interest me at least not enough for me to want to pay for them.

Hopefully we aren't doing anything illegal

I think it is a bit expensive. Should be $10 at most.

$13 is nothing.
