good score, can't wait to play it not far now!!!

Eh, Nintendo Power's actually not one to give out the high scores. I mean, NP gave both SMG and SMG2 a 9.5. Still, they did give Metroid Prime 3: Corruption a 10 back in the day, so Other M probably isn't their end all, be all Metroid experience for them.

Still, I was pretty much expecting this. A solid 8.5 on the ol' Meta. I expect Other M to be a solid Metroid experience, but nothing like what the Prime series did for Metroid.

Ouch. It seemed to be a glowing review until their assessment of the story and cutscenes.

It may be interesting if more Nintendo fan sources are harsh on this, but the mainstream media loves it. Rumors are for a high score from Game Informer US, at least.

6 because of too many cutscenes? suck them pretty cutscenes  I do like.

I really want to enjoy this game. Let's see what happens when I finally got it.

what? did i just read it right? did he complain about getting lost in a metroid game and that it never had enough hints? i always though metroid was always like that lol

He put a 6 because he sucks then? if they got someone better to review the score would have been higher.  It's like compalining that enemies take life away from you.

Good score, but they did remark that Samus was guilty of 'inane ramblings' every now and then, which is kind of what I feared with the new direction.

Playing while watching a cool movie, it's like that, nothing wrong with that.
