umm that's at the gamecom 2010 event and he is playing the game using the move

I know that. But how am I supposed to judge if there's any lag if I'm not shown his hand motions dummy.

just look at the undersiege video's i posted, the game play control scheme of painting in the troop's is pretty evident it works because in the demo you could see Anton use that very same function..and sofar every rts that's being released for the move control's on the PS3 has been that responsive.

the reason being because it work's

are you just looking for a reason to doubt it's ability ?

No no, no fanboy reasons to doubt (well maybe just a little bit).

Seriously I need to see the hand movement to judge how much the lag is between movement of Move (input) and effect on screen.

I know that you can demo a game and make it look very lag-free and smooth despite a lag of even 400 ms if you are very familiar with the game. I've done it myself on Age of Empires II online back in the day.

Another R.U.S.E. demo with Move.

very nice

From the look of that demo I'd say they gimped the DS3 only controls so much that Move is essential if you want to enjoy this game. I'm liking the look of it for Move.

it's not that they gimped it, it's just the game pad is not best suited to operate a RTS anyone who's play RTS on game consoles know how that feels. the KEY To this in my opinion is How the control feel's when you move from one end of the board to the other with a standard game pad compared to when you move the MOVE from one end of the board to the other part of the board in an RTS feel's like you do when you USE a PC mouse in control's of an RTS on the PC. the point being is by people who have played it sofar has stated the feeling with the Move is like the feeling they have with the PC in their control's for RTS games. something which Gameconsole's have suffered along the way since the use of the game pad to control RTS games they just feel clunky.

Yes and no. It seems like some of the decisions they made about how the game would be controlled using DS3 only aren't the best ways to control a RTS using a gamepad. I've only ever played RTS on PC because I know RTS on console would be suckful. Until now that is.

I also only played RTS games on the PC also, Dawn of war being my most recent..smile Im a big 40k fan, anyhoo I think from design perspective you can get some good way's out of a pad for an RTS but your core design responsiveness would be lower on larger sized map's outside of a macro view on anything that would require an expanded area zone of control from your troop's perspective in which zones it's needed to be moved into to attack but the move of those scattered across a larger plane that since a standard control pad would not be as responsive that you would need in that core design of that type of RTS.

On the same token if the board was shrunk and you instead only have say a macro view inbetween action stages, like there is a pause after all movement than the battle is resolved for each area than that of course would allow the game pad to work pretty good due to the size of the board only matters from the perspective of each battle mode cycle.

But there's some noticeable lag in that. A bit too much for me to feel comfortable playing a game that relies on speed and reflexes.

ive just sold my ps eye and preordered the move starter at £44.99 from amazon, i usually get all things sony anyway so its worth a shot

ol come off of slime..wow..now your can have your opinion but you have yet to try it out so how in the world do you even say it's too much lag? Why are you trying to even say that first you claim you want to see the effect of the motion demo vs the lag on the screen, this lag you are so fond of trying to point out is no way near the amount your trying to paint the Move to have in my opinion your just trying to pull anything you can negative on it before trying it for fear you may want to buy it..lol.

in my opinion from what i can tell it's pretty evident you are trying to avoid trying the Move for fear of you may not be able to control your self an you may end up purchaseing it along with the PS3.

give in you know you want to..lol
