I really missed the no battle transitions from 12.  I guess people love them enough for them to be brought back.  Waste of time IMO.

It is easily the best RPG of this generation so I'm not really surprised. Even though the game is underrated, the fans have clearly decided with the support that they have shown for the game.

I can't say I'm extremely surprised that it passed FFXII, becuase that was another one that a lot of people hated for no real reason. But it's a great achievement nontheless. I would love to see this game pass FFX. Not sure if it's possible but let's hope for it.

Also, a note to people who have been flaming Square for going multiplatform for almost a year now. I'd say this justifies their actions. It's time to move on and stop crying lol.

It will be difficult for FFXIII to add another 2M. I guess it depends on how quickly PS3 and X360 sell and how long they remain, but also on whether FFXIII will be considered as a classic or not. The game will become platinum in a few weeks, we'll be able to have a better idea then.

Imo, it will be about another  0.75 - 1mil at best. the game has recieved a lot of hate, including in the predominantly home market of Japan. and extremely high profile games are about to come out in a couple of months. oh and theres no way it will be considered a classic. if you look at some top 10 etc PS2 lists, FF10 is generally always in the top 5. and ign just recently had a top 25 360 and top 25 PS3, FF13 was in neither (i think). point is the game will not be remembered as a classic, ever!!!, although i think that it should be in the 25 at least.
