Doctor Leonard Samson of Earth X received the Pulitzer peace prize for his work with the Hulk. He was killed by the Skull when they first met. The Skull made Samson pull himself inside out. Samson got about halfway before he died.
Powers
Doc Samson possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, endurance, and resistance to injury depending on the length of his hair.
Doc Samson could originally lift/press around 70 tons, the equivalent to the Hulk in a calm state. Over time his powers wained and his strength seemingly dropped to around 25 tons. His most recent activity shows that his strength seems to have increased again to possibly even greater levels than he possessed early on in his career. His current strength level is unknown, but it is at least in the 70 ton range.
His powerful leg muscles enable him make leaps up to 580 feet straight up and to cover distances of over 910 feet in length. His body is dense enough to resist virtually any kind of conventional injury. His bones and muscles are resilient enough to allow him to fall, feet first, from an altitude of 4,000 feet and land uninjured. The Gamma-radiation has increased his endurance to the point where he almost never tires. He once battled the Hulk and was exerted himself at full capacity for several hours with absolutely no signs of fatigue.
Sampson is one tough cookie..
