oh yeah fragile, and sakura. I've been thinking of both of those.

Also, what's that game with a kid running in blue pants and it's like a shooter. I'm pretty sure it's new, and it looks arcade-y.

Also, isn't there some games with like giant beasts...larger scale than MHT...any ideas?

Well the best games of the year for me are:

Monster Hunter : The wii game I have played the most is this one (100 Hours) and actually theres no grindig involved just hunting huge monsters with buddies in order to get the best kick-ass weapons and armors , though you will get your butt kicked plenty of times and its best played online.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Best wii fighter.

Fragile Dreams, No More Heroes 2, and Sakura Wars: Great games indeed but you have to have a little love for the quirky japanese games.

Sin and Punishment 2: if you like seeing massive amounts of bullets on screen then this is a must.

Arc Rise Fantasia : A traditional jrpg thats pretty good but never really great.

Trauma Team: Great if you want to feel like a doctor though its not as hard as its predecesors but it puts the wiimote to good use.

Prince of Persia the Forgotten Sands

Sky Crawlers Innocent Aces

Little King Story

Deadly Creatures

and the list goes on just make sure to watch a couple of reviews to see if any of these or others apply to your tastes.

I think that's Sin & Punishment 2.

Don't know about the second one. Maybe it's XenoBlade?

Lastly, also ignore the wankers that dismiss House of the Dead: Overkill and Dead Space Extraction.  Those people dismiss the games for being "just rail shooters" and are of the whiny Nintendo fanbase that can't be happy with what they have.

Prior to Metroid: Other  M coming next week, the only other worthwhile hardcore games that Nintendo made/released were Metroid Prime 3 and the Super Mario Galaxy titles.

All the games you mentioned are of very different genres. Not everyone likes Rail-shooters, shooters, and action games all together :P

No More Heroes 1/2

nintendo produced and published games. i consider them core games to the console, or most important.when it comes to 3rd party on Wii i don't think they have anything to offer.
