Without a doubt I believe both Legendary Franchise will get a Re-boot by the end of this generation.. but which one do you see coming first? Either way we all win because when on shows up I doubt the other will sit out the 2D brawler uprising.

1.I think Final Fight will come 1st just because CAPCOM has done alittle more with the IP, Both Cody and GUy appeared in SFIV and CAPCOM has released Double impact on PSN/XBL to build interest.

2. I want reall really really  want Streets of Rage to come 1st.

3. I without a second thought, know Streets of Rage is the better beat em up.

I think Final fight is cool too but it was to campy for me, and Im shocked that Cody* the face of final fight* appeared in 2 games only. The animations were kinda choppy they definitly needed a few more frames

but it did have the advantage of bigger more vibrant sprites though the only plus over SoR

Final Fight... cause Sega has let all its great franchises die.. heck.. this one died in 1994... not counting Fighting Force which was supposed to be Street of Rage 4..

actuall your wrong SEGA has not let SoR die.. they have had at least 5 atempts through the past gens to reboot SoR it just none of the have co me to fruitation.

Die Hard arcade was the 1st SoR 4

Then after that was Fighting Force

Then SoR4 DC

Then a suppossed 1st person braweler for 360

SEGA is being careful not sully the name like CAPCOM did with FInal Fight streetwise.

heres what Final Fight Streetwise was suppose to be before CAPCOM of America messed eveything up!

the less said about Streetwise the better. I would like to see revivals of Final Fight and Streets of Rage, but just keep with their original aesthetics (though they could update them to 3D if they felt like it). We don't need any "grim and gritty" Liefeldian crap

I can imagine a new Final Fight game coming out on WiiWare/PSN/XBLA considering the success of the retro revivals of Castlevania, Contra, Gradius and Mega Man

Capcom has a better record of reviving retro games. I imagine a new Final Fight would come first.

Yeah, but nobody bought Bionic Commando.  If they do bring back Final Fight, they'd probably do it like Mega Man 9 and 10.  Old-school and downloadable.
