Forums - Sony - Castle Crashers finally coming to PSN

Worry not, gentle knights of the PS3, Castle Crashers will officially grace your kingdom August 31 for the plebian price of $15.

The game will hit PSN almost exactly two years after its release and immense success on XBLA, and after one and a half years of development for the console, according to The Behemoth blog’s announcement.

If you’re a fan of Castle Crashers, The Behemoth is also working on it’s third quirky, side-scroller title, BattleBlock Theatre, which they’re billing as “a story about friendship, betrayal, and a whole truck load of cats.” Check out the trailer straight from the developer blog!

Will you PS3 owners give three cheers to Castle Crashers when it’s finally released over PSN? How does BattleBlock Theatre look to carry The Behemoth torch? Leave us your thoughts in the comments!

I personally didn't like it. I prefer the likes of Scott Pilgrim.

Cool

2 years after the 360, why bother?

seems to be the case with the "exclusives" by MS, give it around 1-2 years and it'll jump ship that's why I don't even fret when ever MS announces a "exclusive" by a 3rd party except if it's published or owned titles(even so Ninja gaiden still went ps3 -.-).

This game was tons of fun back when it 1st came out. So anyone who hasn't played it should give it a try.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

what do you mean "Finally coming to PSN" ? this was announced on last year's GDC and then shown gameplay on Comic-con last year along with Braid , but they were too slow for porting it because they're adding new stuff.

That's like saying why bother with remakes/ports of awesome classics. If the game is good and not on the platform yet, no harm in bringing it in late.

Was one of the best reasons to own the 360!!! Buy it PS3 people if you aren't used to this type of game you will be suprised like me and three of my friends. One of the best COOP games ever!

A little over rated, but still a classic on XBLA.

My sloppy seconds, you guys enjoy it.
