They're probably hiding under a big sheet that says "Don't kill us, we didn't know GOW 1/2 sold that well, the sales were WRONG"

Regardless, they were spewing around the usual userbase argument which has been proven wrong many times.

And they were adjusted up by what ? 500k ?

Either way, God of War III is gonna become the best selling God of War ever !

Stop lying. Everyone knows that the God of War / Heavenly Sword crossover with Athena is gonna kick the pants off the Kratos games in terms of sales. She is the true god of war, not that pathetic loser kratos with daddy issues.

Agreed....too bad Sony is lame and they will never let that happen

They have GT5 and Move coming along with the bigger HDD PS3's.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

wel only gt5 and 40 gb of bigger space wont do it.

What's the deal with Sony cutting the prices on old models? When are the new 160 and 340 gig models out? I'm curious to see if that creates any sort of boost.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

For all you doom and gloom people out there  consider this for a second. What does 360 have to offer after Gears 3 launches? The answer at the moment is nothing, they will be reliant on 3rd party sales. Sony on the other hand has a huge list of 2011 titles and will likely have a price cut to fall back on should they need to. Yes the 360s and price drop hurt Sony in the hardware race but this is the first week in quite a while 360 outsold PS3 in software.

Long term outlook Sony> Microsoft

Short Term outlook Microsoft>Sony and Nintendo

And that is different from the rest of the 360's life how?

And ms can't just match any price drop Sony can do? They do have bigger profit margins on each unit sold don't they?

Long term outlook, things will stay how they are, or 360 will increase its lead even more like it has been.

Short Term outlook Microsoft>Sony and Nintendo

I'll agree with this.

I think the consoles have already formed libraries well rounded enough that a few more exclusives don't push much hardware, unless it's something really huge (like GT). Besides, I doubt MS has nothing beyond Gears 3.

As for the price cut, people seem to forget that MS can fall back on one as well. The 360 is still $300 (with a HD) in its largest market, which is the same price as a PS3.

As for any doom and gloom, it does seem kind of useless. Sales for the PS3 are great at the moment, the 360's current high doesn't take that away from it.

We have heard this for years now.  MS this gen has deliberatly focused on showing titles that are basically in the next 12 months of release.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Microsoft has E3 2011 to unveil NEW Games... Im sure Forza MotorSport 4 and Kingdoms will launch Next FALL.
