so what's your point? If you don't like it,then don't bye it. That's not going to make me hate the game.

His point was that he doesn't like matchmaking systems, and the inability to customize game rules and settings. He wished that Killzone 3 retained those features from Killzone 2.

What was the point of your post? You should have addressed his concerns and opinions, rather than just saying "O well, screw you!!!"

Again, that's not going to make me hate the game. Call of duty's matchmaking systems sucks, but that's did'nt stop me from enjoying the game. Nothing is perfect.  If not having that feature is a dealbreaker, then just don't bye it. Plain and simple.

Did he say he hated the game? This is one minus (how large or small I do not know) for him, but he never expressed that the game was absolutely a failure. If you're upset about the title, loosen up, titles are meant to be provacative and general.

And it seems like you're simply just upset with him expressing his criticisms and negative opinions. He may or may not buy the game, but he can definetly talk about it.

Don't get me wrong,I like Kyliedog, but he just comes across as to negative for me sometimes. Of course he can talk about it,but I can also disagree and respond to the post. I wish they did'nt take away that feature, but there's nothing I can do about it. Don't get me wrong, you and Kyliedog seem like good people, but I'm just not going to see eye to eye, with everything you post. Have a good day.

What's the point of just making a post with 100 people saying "Looks awesome" "Sweet graphics" etc? Unless I feel like I can make a unique and constructive contribution, I won't post (or at least I aim/want to). We tend to have more unique criticisms that are attuned to our personal preferences than positives (cool graphics isn't exaclty a unque preference).

If you want to hear KylieDog say something posititve, ask him to explain why he likes the Resident Evil series.

I don't want to make this a whole debate thing. I don't want to derail Kyliedog's post any further. This is my last post in this thread.

Why don't they include a system similar to MGO? The matchmaking will be for ranked stuff and can net rewards, etc. while the server list will be for leveling up skills and practice.

If they indeed remove it completely, then they're shooting themselves in the foot.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

I considered it more of a dialogue than debate. *shrug*

You can easily contribute and get this thread back on track. Why do you think that custom game settings and server lists aren't a noteworthy loss?

I wonder if this has something to do with Move. It doesn't seem to make sense to offer motion control and then have a game not be compatable with how the controls work. Its the same reason why shooters on PCs are twitchy, it suits the 1:1 nature of the interface. So quite possibly the reason why the game removed the weightiness is because it wouldn't work for Move players.

Tease.

Hey, I probably buy Killzone 3 providing it doesn't suffer the control issues Killzone 2 did for the first few months of release until they patched a fix.

I doubt they'll leave a massive deadzone on the controls again though.

edit:

Just incase no one realised this, but no server browser means there probably will not be custom matches like in Killzone 2 where you can turn off certain classes or weapons, adjust points needed for wins, how long objective modes last etc.

Automatic matchmaking would never work with custom games like that.

They could be there, but you'll probably have to populate the game yourself, like in Uncharted 2.

Personally, I like the change. I hate hate hate server lists. They make the online experience feel severely disjointed, and matchmaking is so standard now, it's just laziness not to include it. Ideally, the game would have both, but I'd much rather have matchmaking than those god awful server lists.

Can you explain what you mean by saying "... the online experience feel severely disjointed"?

Can you elaborate more on specific features of server lists that make you hate them?

well that's it then, not buying this piece of shit, but I knew it would happen, seeing how quick GG destroyed killzone 2 multiplayer for the sake of casuals, which lasted like what? 3 months...... not going to suffer threw ANOTHER dumbed down noobified piece of garbage,

oh you d*****s new wave gamers........... when will you learn server list is match making and a party system all in one with better community features....... *sigh*

I'll try

All the server list does, IMO, is add another layer of confusion. All the way through, I've been treated to a sleek interface, in which it is clear what to do. Then suddenly, this giant mess comes up, with information I don't need or care about, and I suddenly have to make a conscious decision about which server to join. Do I join the 28 player one, or the 30 player one? What, exactly, is the difference between those two? Why is that server name in Japanese?

I would much rather go through a matchmaking service which knows what it's doing and puts me in a suitable match.

KZ2 didn't use matchmaking? Damn, I've got to get it NOW! Matchmaking is one of the reasons I don't like multiplayer games on consoles. And that's something I avoid on PC, too.

Troll? O.o

What exactly don't you like about server lists and custom games? The beauty of those two features are that you have choice.

No, I'm not a troll. I love dedicated servers because just like you said, it gives me choice. And it gives me more players. And because of the lack of those two things, I strongly dislike matchmaking.
