You need the official PSJailbreak dongle anyway. The file on their site is only the Backup Manager program which apparently can't function on its own. It won't work if the console isn't in dev mode and that's exactly what the 'official' dongle seems to do.

That said, I look forward to testing it too. I've never had a hack or anything on a console (not even my PSP), but once someone reverse-engineers the official dongle so it can be distributed freely, I might try it. A game like MGS4 could greatly benefit from having a backup on the HDD. Quick installs between Acts...

Yes, it seems you'd still need to find a way to boot the console on debug mode otherwise you can't install the manager.

Anyways, someone will soon discover what makes that little drive so special though, and soonthere will be dozens of clones or even simple software leaks.
