Looks gorgeous and all but it doesn't seem to be too much of a deviation from the typical FPS.
Pixel Art can be fun.

Like those websites used to do everytime there was a new good game coming up (some of them still do it, actually). It's kind of immature, me think. But that might just be me. I used to do that when I was much younger. I don't know... I don't think many of those games you're hyping deserve that much praise before you even played the game. It's just kind of difficult for me to grasp the fact that someone hyping those games like you do all the time, and in the manner that you do it, is actually 27 years old.
I do get excited about many games (Versus, Killzone 3, GT 5, inFamous 2, and to a lesser extant Reach), but I don't see the point in hyping them like they're the second coming of Christ (or is it the third?).
But like some other user pointed out, I guess once you get used to that attitude of yours, it can get kinda cute... |
:)
this looks good... but not because of graphics... what i like about this game is the humor, the silliness and the strange and fun weapons.

Proudest Platinums - BF: Bad Company, Killzone 2 , Battlefield 3 and GTA4

I think it looks at least better than Uncharted 2. I'd put it just above that level, imo. :P It's like a more polished uncharted 2 with way less clipping, lol.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.

Oh good one! What a clever and intelligent burn. You sir, are a champion of words. I love the way you tried so hard to make someone else feel less of themselves, even though you are part of a gaming forum as well. It's like "Man, Person A is such a nerd for liking these games so much. I would never like a game that much, thus I am less of a loser than them!"
Seriously, grow up.
On Topic: I love how Bulletstorm is shaping up to be, not to mention the fact that People Can Fly came out and said that they got annoyed that people called this game a mindless shooter, which it certainly is not.
i cam in here expecting a thread about how awsome the gameplay in bulletstorm is. but its turns out that its about graphics.
my two favorite games this gen had crappy graphics. infamous and dragon age:origins. selnor cant you care once about gameplay?
3rd party devs have always been good, assasins creed 2 looked good, red faction: guerilla looked good. read dead redemption looks good.
yes rage, crysis 2, and bullet storm look great, but that doesnt mean that 3rd party devs are outdoing 1st party. by the looks of it all 1st party titles are improving, same thing with 3rd party titles.
Being in 3rd place never felt so good

The challenge is more onscreen with big environments ( or big enemies ) whilst looking good to. |
The first sentence wasn't aimed at you specifically, just at how uncivilized these graphics discussions are becoming.
I understood that you're referring to the amount of AI's on screen as well as scale and draw distance, but like I said before, there are upcoming games that are looking to surpass it. Crysis 2, Killzone 3, Gears of War 3, Rage, and inFamous 2 are some examples. It's just my opinion, really. Not trying to knock on your opinion or anything.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
Hmm mixed feelings great that we see more and more games with colours but it doesn't suck me in... First need to play it myself and see it on my screen before I can comment about it graphics and gameplay...
Brink, Rage, Bulletstorm are my 3 most hyped FPS games ATM and graphics are only a small reason why, but any thread that brings attention to these games is welcome by me lol. They all do look great tho.
@TheVoxelman on twitter
looks phenomenal.
At the announcement it was a "rent" title (If I didn't know the developer probably even a "skip" title).
At E3 after the first gameplay videos it was a buy, now at Gamescom it's a must buy.
