I am taking it in the 10th grade. I really want to do good because i need a good scholorship for college. Im not very into studying. Do you think i need to for the PSAT.

Just don't worry about it too much. Its a prep-test for a test so just make sure you don't get too nervous while your taking it. I think you'll do fine.

isn't this like the US version of the IELTS test ?

if so then its not really necessary and its pretty easy.... actually all college tests are easy, its just that after high school you feel very fed up with tests and too lazy to study for them.
