A lot of Wii games could also play fine on a joystick. But I guess people seem to really enjoy this motion crap.

I have no interest in this simply because its Harry Potter. But for the sake of the Kinect I hope this project improves a long the way and really utilizes the Kinect.

 Am I the only one who thinks  this game would be better with a wii-mote as you use the wii-mote as a wand? With the  Numchuk you could move your character. Hold both the wii-mote and Numchuk  out to repel spells.  Arm/hand movements can be tracked better by Move and Wii-mote ( for example both can pick up twisting of your wrist in bowling).

This was just horrible, beyond horrible. Harry Potter games are generally decent movie games, but this one is just well did I already say horrible.

why they changed this game from the older HP game format to a cover shooter I will never know, I'm a HUGE Hp fan and this game is probably the only deathly hallows thing I won't be buying (as I avoid most 'shooter' genre things like the plague), just my opinion, the genre is not my thing, I'm obviously not the target audience though and I understand that fully

At least the movie looks great though, and is being done in 2 parts so they can fit all the content in

I am not defending this game, it looks like a steaming pile of shit.  Just like all of the other Harry Potter games I have played.   

I will defend the Kinect however.  Every trailer released you guys harp on this or that and that the lag is 1833094309 seconds long and blah blah blah, a lot of these games are still alphas or betas.  

Most of the games I have seen or tried for the Kinect that are closer to being finished are fun.  They aren't perfect, or hardcore but they are indeed fun (mainly geared towards a family).  And there is nothing wrong with that as long as Microsoft continues to produce games for Core and Kinect gamers.  

Nearly everyone you see coming from the Kinect Tour or demo has a smile on their face and are happy with the experience.  So keep talking shit,  it wont matter as long as these games are fun.

I don't know about anyone else but after watching that video I had a big smile on my face since I was laughing.  A lot of "movie" games are pretty bad.
