Checked on Neo Gaf and according to a couple of Spanish Websites that the PS3 is getting Mass Effect however it's not known if it's just ME1 or 2 and it could be a new game.The person with knowledge of the game said it's possible for a Gamescom anouncement if not it's going to be a web exclusive or a magazine cover.

I believe Microsoft owned the rights to Mass Effect 1 but I am not sure if EA paid to get it back fromt them. This does set them up in the future to have Mass Effect 3 sell a whole lot more if they release a 360, PS3 and PC version on the same day.

I hope so. More people need to play this awesome series.

Different name and more content. Nothing MS could do about it I don't think.

This one is hard to call because it's obvious bioware wants to be multiplat but at this point it might just seem like a hassle to port it all and theres also the issue of what exactly was in the contract with EA and MS, thought at this point if it does happen it won't be announced until a few months before ME3
