The Ps3 currently has a lead of 600,000 units. However the 360 is quickly closing that gap riding the success of the 360slim. Microsoft have yet to release the slim arcade, halo and kinect.

But Sony wont go down without a fight, they have Move and Gran turismo coming up.

Come January first who will have won???

We should have a clearer view by the end of Sony's and Microsoft's conferences.

What Carl said. We'll have a better picture of both companies strategies after Gamescon. I still suspect we'll see a PS3 price cut in PAL, and hopefully the white console in the west. Needless to say it won't be much of a contest if that does happen.

I went with probably not because while I don't belive the PS3 will outsell the 360, but there is always a chance no matter how slim.

I think PS3 will win. It's to late for the 360 but i still think 360 will sell good( not as good as ps3 but decent sales)

I think it can go either way at this point. It's going to be a very interesting Q3 this year.

Xbox 360 will outsell the PS3 on October. And till the end of the year, I would say the 360 will surpass the PS3 by more than a million this year.

The 360 has out sold the PS3 every month this year. This has been going on since Nov 09. I will give the PS3 maybe the month GT5 finally comes out. Other then that games like God or War 3 didn't help the PS3 top the 360. So if GT5 doesn't do it then it's not happen. Well until they start selling 199.99 PS3s.

This is why I voted propably, if they have the new 160gb/320gb and maybe even a minor price change then yeah more than likely.

I doubt that anything either of them have to say at Gamescom will have much effect on this year. If they do show stuff we haven't seen already it will probably be schedualed for next year. I think what we know about the rest of 2010 is how it's going to be. Halo Reach, Fable 3, Kinect, Move, GT5, etc.
