Forums - Gaming - FOX News take on Medal of Honor

Nice. I would definitely like to play as taliban and kill a lot of americans. Sounds cool.

MY ZELDA COLLECTION

Didn't we already have this discussion when MW2 came out? That game sold record numbers so clearly the masses don't give a shit.

0:55, her line on WWII:

"It's not based on real people..."

k what? really? So was WWII just some huge staged-act? I really don't get what she's trying to say.

Anyways.....honestly, I thought it was a bad idea for EA to take MoH in this direction. Sure lots of people are pretty tired of WWII shooters but Middle East settings are startin to get old fast. Plus we all knew there'd be complaints from people like this lady. EA's trying way too hard to compete with MW2. They need to realize they have no chance at MW2 and stick with what they do best:  the Battlefield series. BC2 is nowhere near close to MW2's sales/popularity, but it's an amazing game and one of the funnest online shooters I've played in a while.

What's the game she mentions at 2:56? Chukona or something, I was trying to google it and I couldn't find anything.

OT: The Interviewer was surprisingly good, the women is a dud and Medal of Honour is now a guaranteed  success.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Is the average buying of FPS's really 39?  That means for every 16 year old I hear on PSN there's some 72 year old out there playing as well.  Yeah I know that's not how the average works but it just seems really high to me.

You'd be surprised, laddie. I have a friends granny that plays SMB3 back in the day. I was a teenager at the time and she was around in her 80's and playing pretty good in her age. She passed away a year ago, God bless her soul, was a sweet lady. So I wouldn't count out a 75 year ol' man (who's been gaming his whole life since the Atari days) playing shooters like this these days...

It may sound absurd, but it's plausable.

yes you knew one gaming granny, but how many gaming teenagers did you know?  I'm not surprised that there are older people that play games, I'm surprised that there are enough to make the average 39.

I think he said that average gamer is 39. That includes people playing flash games on internet and so on.
