PS3 is doomed too!

-Too expensive

-bad Ports

-Bad Sales

and Wii!

-Gamecube.

-Weak Hardware

-No games

-Casuals

- Kinect/PSmove

every console Has been doomed this entire Gen and for the most part is just Fanboys running their mouths. None Are doomed, they have all found a nice spot in the market and will all continue too do fine.

i didnt even realise people were saying the PS3 is doomed, thats just compplete daft talk if it has been said again as the ps3 has solid sales that are still rising in the YOY. Ok its not outselling the 360 anymore but it was obvious the 360 with its new model was going to get a sales boost for a few months.

The 360 sitting at $299 is doing pretty darn well for itself, actually.


As for PS3 doom, I haven't actually seen much of it on here. Nowadays the extremes seem to be on the Wii's YoY declines, and the 360's huge slim spike. I mean, if you look at kowenicki's December 2010 prediction thread, you'll see that most people still expect PS3 sales more or less even with the 360's.

If not mistaken Sony is gaining profit for every PS3 sold? I doubt Sony would care their position as long they can earn something back and frankly I think it might be too late to gain enough money for their next console, maybe they could end up teaming up with Nintendo to come out something interesting.

I only thought PS3 was doomed was when it first came out with that awful price tag. It's not even close to being doomed now. It's just getting warmed up. Xbox 360 came out a year before the other systems thats why there ahead in sales.  More likely most of the new xbox 360 sales are from people who already owned an xbox 360. We all know the quality of the product they produced. Sales to repeat customers shouldn't count. Also i think the slim xbox helped microsoft out for the time being.
