You want to know if you could still play Tennis or use the Move controls without the ball being in view of the camera?
Not 100% positive but I am sure it will still work fine. I read this article this morning where they tested the Move with the XMB, BD playback, Web Browser, etc...
It all worked of course, but they did it all with just the Move and without the PSEye hooked up to the PS3.
