I hate to break it to you but The Last Airbender makes Dragon Ball: Evolution look like Inception.

Well I think it was supposed to be Avatar: Book of Earth and then Avatar: Book of Fire but...

Right. They can break the speed of light and have the technology to travel millions of light years, yet they didn't realize they are vulnerable to a not terribly uncommon molecule. |
Yeah, Signs was pretty awful. I probably but it somewhere near the Happening just because of stupid little details like that.
They're weak to water yet they invade a planet where everything is made of water?
They run around in dew covered fields.
They can run at incredible speeds and jump on top of two story houses, yet a wooden door stops them dead in their tracks.
I'm sure if I had seen the movie recently I could go on but it's not really worth it. Usually when movies have those type of flaws they're the type of movies you can just turn you brain off, like Bio-Dome, but the problem with things like Signs is it's a movie where you are supposed to be thinking.
I mean Hell, have they never heard of a simple body suit?

Well same goes with The Sixth Sense. It really pushed twisted endings to a new step. |
A twist at the ending isn't really a good thing on its own. It's usually a slap in the face. Good twists are like the endings of 12 Monkeys, where it ties everything together in a good way instead of just canceling it out. Or the big twist in Fight Club, which is only the ending of the 2nd Act, and then leads to more progress in the story, changing the pace and the plot. Or the big twist in Psycho, which is only the ending of the 1st Act, and then it practically starts over as a new movie. When the whole point of the movie is intentionally hidden from the audience, it should be revealed at some point to change everything, but not 5 seconds before the credits.
But hey, not everybody can write like the genius Peter Chimaera:

Woah! I completely missed that, why are you hating on The Little Mermaid? It came out in Disney's prime and is probably one of the best ones!
Are you sure you didn't watch The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning?
Also, from what I've heard The Last Airbender wasn't that terrible of a movie. It wasn't good, but if you like the series it's apparently a decent ride (I haven't had a chance to see it, I'll have to wait until it comes to DVD).
I agree with the order except I thought Unbreakable was his best work. Everything after The Village has been complete and utter garbage. When i watched The Happening I felt like I was devouring feces with my eyes.
I sort of agree/disagree.
Six sense and signs were really good.
While rest have been below these and below many other movies, I was entertained and generally enjoyed watching them. The only one I haven't seen is Airbender and I really do want to as I loved the cartoon.
While I do think I'll be a little disappointed, I'm sure it will be worth my 2hrs of time and overall enjoyable.

lol I actually love The Little Mermaid (although I would never put it in my fav list) but it's just to show that his taste is vastly different so he might simply not be into Shyamalan's genre of movies.

Quite serious and at least half of the main cast in Dragon Ball was Asian. (Master Roshi, Yamcha, and Chi Chi)
