I don't want to hold the industry back, holding it back in terms of power is the reason why so many ditched consoles in favor of PC.

Gameplay is not limited by the Wii's hardware, you can create the same games on the Wii, 

just forego all the shiny graphics

How do you know that? And better yet what was wrong with it? Gameplay is limited on the Wii due to the lack if buttons so a lot of game don't benefit from the MD controller. Even people who like the Wii admitt that!

Shiner graphics? Maybe you should look at the specs of the systems and learn what game makers use them for and then you can see why the PS3 and 360 offer more potential and less limits than the Wii..Look at their better online and the PS3's sixaxis controller, then when you come from a well educated area then you will see how wrong you are.

And your no shiny graphics comments proves you like shitty looking games and your lack of knowledge of the industry in general. There is more to the PS3 and 360 than shiny graphics, which is NOT a bad thing. I suggest you figure out what that is than post again.

No offence but I really think that is a lame statement. I will give it to the 360 and the PS3. Yeah they have prettier graphics but there is also a change in what you can do, how fast you can do it and more imprtantly what the enemies can do and percieve.

You can name whatever game you want to..... but I doubt you can find previous gen features in games like dead rising, gears of war, doa4, rainbow six, motorstorm and virtua fighter 5. Seriously after playing a boatload of games I assure you that there aren't any gameplay experiences that match in the previous gen. Using your frame of thinking you can call halo 2 a prettier version of goldeneye.... right?..... the gameplay is the same right.? They are both FPS but there are many different things you can do which is directly attributed to power.

Wii I much prefer the controls over standard regular controls because you know what it actually feels much easier and better to play. Look at red steel (flame me all you want) even though it wasn't perfect it felt more natural controlling the player rather then it is with dual analogue sticks. Also NO ONE can ARGUE sports games (like golf, baseball, madden) are much more fun to play traditionally over wii controller otherwise they are kidding themself.

XBOX360 offers some of the coolest franchises that are out there atm. Like Halo franchise, Gears of war. etc..

Weak systems and bad graphics are why so many picked pc gaming, that and good online. So why shouldn' they get that market by getting more power and good online? Nobody said they HAD to use all of the power, just that they can if they wish.

I would be happier if everybody got over and stopped crying everytime somebody hates a system.

FYI, I had a PS2 and PS1..The graphics sucked on both. I liked GTA vice city and all games for the PS2 that were on XB better on XB.
