Why are people so threatened by the Wii?

lol who seriously cares about gfx for consoles. We all know PC will easily over take ps3 in no time. Consoles are meant to be fun for everyone to play. Only real serious gamers that care about gfx improvements would stick to a pc and upgrade their PC every 2years.Also this is so funny, when PS2 was competing against GCN and XBOX. PS2 fans weren't saying how shit the gfx were on ps2 and yet know that PS3 is out they like oh the Wii gfx suck, xbox360 gfx will soon be over taken by PS3 gfx with second generation of games.Personally they all have good things to offer.

Wii I much prefer the controls over standard regular controls because you know what it actually feels much easier and better to play. Look at red steel (flame me all you want) even though it wasn't perfect it felt more natural controlling the player rather then it is with dual analogue sticks. Also NO ONE can ARGUE sports games (like golf, baseball, madden) are much more fun to play traditionally over wii controller otherwise they are kidding themself.

XBOX360 offers some of the coolest franchises that are out there atm. Like Halo franchise, Gears of war. etc..

PS3 will eventually offer the best lighting and AI which will make it another direction of gaming that will be fun to experience. What I’m saying is variety is good. Why do we need to have 3 consoles again competing for the same thing. Change is good, accept it and move on fanboys.
