Halo Reach is a true megaton.  It's hilarious how there are people who doubted Halo's selling power still.  LOL at Gametrailers for some reason that site has been trying to downplay Reach big time.

Also GT5 numbers aren't terrible at all but they are far from what many on here were predicting.  I've been saying this forever the demand for a Racing Sim in todays market is nowhere near what it used to be.  GT5 will still sell millions and prob be the best racing game released so far this gen BUT its not going to be some massive hundreds of thousands of hardware pushing units huge.

Fable 3 and Fallout New Vegas doing awesome as well.

obviously they dont have the data we have. if pachter gets our data he could become reliable.

gt5 pre orders are good. first thing sports games get to do 4,5,6 times of what their first week did, even more, look at forza, 2nd thing it look at uc2 180k pre orders, 350 k first week in america, and it had great legs. also i dont think that the majority of people who want it pre ordered, some may be in disbelief that it is releasing. i see gt5 getting 3-4 million in america. 9-10 million ltd.

GT5 will not sell 10 million LT unless heavily bundled.

True true and your prediction was still pretty conservative I wasn't trying to knock you at all.  There were people on here saying 15 million LT no problem...and I just don't see that being possible in any way.  I'm leaning between 7.5 - 8 million personally.

personally i dont care how much it sells as long as i get the game in my hand and enjoy it. and ofcourse il want it to move some hardware on the side. but thats is just a bonus.

i am a sony fan but i dont take sales as a competition on a forum, its always funny when their meltdowns because a game sold high or low. this forum is too much about sales not so much about games, we should change that.

Once sony starts advertising GT5 like Microsoft is doing Halo reach then it will start to gain preorders. Also I am planning on buying GT5 but did not preorder yet because i think its too early and i suppose there are many people like me. Is there a way to see preorders for for GT5 in Europe? Because after Gamescom I think many people in Europe will start reserving it.

when is the advertising for GT5 supposed to kick in?
