Well you are talking the clearance of the old Arcade.  Although still some available they are not readily available.  So cant judge sales by those available at $150.  To see 360 sales jump to a new level of regular sales Kinect will have to catch the general publics fancy.

Just wait until November and December NPD...  They'll make a lot of people cry for different reasons.

The $150 was a clearance sale. Once the old stock was sold out it no longer effects sales.

But I do think that 2011 will be the begining of the end for this generation. Sales will peak and rumors will start about the next generation. By 2012 brand new Xbox 360s and PS3 slims will be price no higher than $199 and Xbox 360s Arcades will be $129-$149. By 2013 they will be discounted even more and next generation won't be rumors anymore, it will be confirmed and even shown at E3.

Are these the best sales the 360 will have? Maybe, but the same goes for PS3. We've reached the top of the hill and we're about to roll down the other side.

Well, it's still doubtful it will sell as much as it did in 2008 (fiscal year), but we'll see how this (fiscal year) ends.

Xbox is at its peak. However, the peak may last a while. I expect it to do well in 2011, also. Eventually (and it very well may be another year or so), it'll enjoy similar sales of the Slim release with a price drop across all models.

I still remeber the time when PS3 fans were ridiculed for using the "just wait until" phrase. Funny that 360 users like to use it so much since Natal/Kinect was revealed.

No, come November and December the 360 will be peaking.
