Well lot's of people don't use condoms here in Romania also. But that's because many (especially those who live in the countrysdie) have never heard of them. We don't really have any sex ed over here, hence lots of teenage pregancy and lots of abortions. I've actually met people who think you can't get pregant the first time you do it (and they're not the most ignorant I've met).

Australia seems to be mid-high in terms of teenage pregnancies, not great, not too bad; this is the latest (2010 report) I could find:

Well, with me being gay and always having lived in relatively large to huge cities, I'd be damned if I skip on protection even for some relationship that seems alright but still unproven. On the other hand my bf's sister said once that the pill makes her feel bloated and irritable, so she too relies on condoms (and of course the pill does nothing for STDs). Religion wouldn't be an issue for her if it comes to an abortion, but while I haven't researched abortions too closely, I'm pretty sure they aren't a pleasant walk in the park.

It may not ber very represenatative, but watch the HBO movie If These Walls Could Talk. Also you could watch the Romania (yay) widely critically acclaimed movie (that I personally didn't like that much) 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days.

Frankly it makes me queasy. Though tbh so does birth; I doubt I'll stomach films like that.
but I meant just the physical part of the abortion (of a perfectly legal one too)... ugh. Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's not advisable to have too many abortions, I think we learned that at some point in biology. So avoiding kids with abortions is really kind of a bad idea in the long run.

Teens aside, I'm pretty much pro vasectomy/however the female equivalent is called, once you've had all the kids you've wanted or decided that you didn't want any - mostly concerning stable relationships/families, to avoid pregnancy and shag all you want without the guy having to stick to condoms, or the woman to stuff herself with hormones.

But back to the orginal question... I'd still advocate protection for everyone, until tested and having some clarity on the relationship (and protection outside of relationships). Serious stuff like HIV aside, there are other infections too, and asking doesn't always net you the truth when even people who'd be upfront about something like that simply don't know they are infected.

if you're clean and you can't use condoms for whatever reason pulling out works just remember to do it like a porn star... don't wait like a fucking moron for your junk to be at the tip... pull out well ahead and you're good to go... plus it's kind of hot to masturbate yourself to orgasm in front of your lover and if it's just some hoe... make sure to go for the eyes... edit: it helps that I half not only nearly no sperm, but that those few I do have are lazy(no motility) so no babies for me unless it's 1:1000000 chance and I would be super happy if that happened if it was a son... slightly less happy if it was a daughter

The problem with pulling out beofre you ejaculate is that for many guys the penis secrets a liquid whose unscientific name is precum that contains sperm cells. The chances of concieving a baby are lower, but it could still happen.
