Frankly it makes me queasy. Though tbh so does birth; I doubt I'll stomach films like that.
but I meant just the physical part of the abortion (of a perfectly legal one too)... ugh. Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's not advisable to have too many abortions, I think we learned that at some point in biology. So avoiding kids with abortions is really kind of a bad idea in the long run.
Teens aside, I'm pretty much pro vasectomy/however the female equivalent is called, once you've had all the kids you've wanted or decided that you didn't want any - mostly concerning stable relationships/families, to avoid pregnancy and shag all you want without the guy having to stick to condoms, or the woman to stuff herself with hormones.
But back to the orginal question... I'd still advocate protection for everyone, until tested and having some clarity on the relationship (and protection outside of relationships). Serious stuff like HIV aside, there are other infections too, and asking doesn't always net you the truth when even people who'd be upfront about something like that simply don't know they are infected.
