Hey guys Im about to do another Mass Effect 2 run. Should I do Infiltrator or Adept (I've done both and loved both and I can't decide) So which one  do you think deserves another Playthrough with?

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

I haven't done Adept yet, myself. It'll be my next runthrough.

I'll need to do Engineer at some point too, but it seems... boring.

Actually It can be quite fun. Id actually rank it above sentinel and Soldier

The Adept run is fun, although I was very sad to see that cooldown applies to all of your powers.  I wanted to fling death on a consistent basis, not a every-five-second basis.

Hey now. Hey.

Even Singularity is only like 3.5 seconds after the cooldown reduction, everything else has like a 2.4 cooldown, and it can get even shorter with good equipment.

You have a gun for a reason!

Yeah I haven't finished the game with an Engineer yet either. I love the Infiltrator, Sentinel, and Vanguard classes though. What do you guys think of the new weapons?

I haven't bought the firepower pack. Still wondering whether or not to get the Aegis pack; the Kestrel armor looks insane, except for tthe stupid-looking helmet.

Well I only got the Kestrel Armor since I had left over points. Haven't tested it out yet. I'll suit my Shepard up in it, sans helme. I hate that helmet design.

The new weapons are nice. The Heavy Pistol doesn't have a targetting reticule and has laser sight. It has more ammo and does more damage than the Carnifex Hand Cannon. It can be more effective once you adjust to the laser sight. The Mattock rifle is like sniper rifle/AR hybrid. It doesn't have much ammo but unlike the VIndicator it doesn't seem to be an issue. It lacks a scope but the fire power per round is high. It's semi auto. ow fast you hit the trigger determines the firing rate. It's debatebly over powered. Because it's semi auto, I would not use it with a Soldier, the firing rate is too low to take advantage of adrenaline rush. The Geth Shotgun is all kinds of awesome. It's great for Tali and Jacob because it's effect at range. It doesn't do the damage that other shotguns do on standard shots, but you can charge your shots to increase damage at the cost of two rounds. It's kind of like having the Carnage weapon talent in ME1.

The geth shotgun seems like it would be wonderful for Soldiers and Infiltrators who can safely get into point-blank with it. Don't know if I'd want it for a Vanguard, though.

I hear tell the Incisor - the weapon that came with the Aegis Pack - is broken in the hands of your squadmates. It lacks the "squadmate weapons are only 60% as powerful" modifier, and they almost never miss with it.

Hell, my brother reports it makes Insanity into a joke if you give it to your squad. Particularly Thane and Zaeed.
