T those not in the know. UK pricing of PS3 is shocking right now.

The cheapest model being £249.99.

For example it has a smaller HDD than the 360s and a wifi not as good. 

Yet the 360s is £199. I bet Sony drop the price of the 160gb to £199 in UK.

They have to. Because that would level the price but still have a smaller HDD. 

We shall see.

I can't see a 50 pound cut. As Kynes pointed out Microsoft is in a very unfavorable position profit-wise in the UK. Why else do you think they hiked the price of the arcade? I suspect it will be a 25 pound cut or maybe 35 at most.

M$ never hiked the price. The shops actually undercut the price. The RRP has stayed the same for ages in the UK.
