I think part of the reason the Medal of Honor numbers are so good is because if you preordered Medal of Honor you got access to a free multiplayer beta. The PS3 beta is over with and if you notice it dropped to 8000 preorders while the 360 beta is still going on and its at a higher number preorder. Expect Medal of Honor preorder numbers to slow down drastically next week since both betas will be done. I already cancelled my preorder since the beta sucked and game feels like a cheap MW knockoff.

Reach numbers are just crazy. The damn advertising hasen't even started yet and it is nearing a million pre-orders with like 2 months to go almost...The next few weeks are going to be interesting to see if it can over-take MW2 or not.

And GT5 doing a bit average really. A lot of games are now about to over-take it with the same time to go i.e Fable 3.

really? a lot of games? Fable 3 is 40k behind with 1 less week, it gained 6k this week. thats 6.5 weeks to overtake it. Granted i know its not going to be linear but its not making leaps and bounds over GT by any means. The next game PS3 Fallout is 12 weeks out and 50k behind GT and GT had mor epreorders this week. Same with Force Unleashed. Youre just making sweeping generalizations that arent even remotely true.

We all get it, you want to downplay GT, but im guessing based on my bolded quote you simply just say things without having the slightest bit of evidence to defend your reasoning on the matter. I mean, i dont even know a lot about GT sales history, but just based on you saying "A LOT OF GAMES ARE NOW ABOUT TO OVERTAKE IT WITH THE SAME TIME TO GO" when all i have to do is scroll up to see thats utter bullshit, im not going to buy your "reasoning" on why its average, when a racing sim is trending with a CoD game in arguably its weakest region.

Also coming from first hand experience there is a large number of the Halo Reach Slim 360s being pre-ordered.  Hardware the week of Reach is going to be insane as well.

Fable II's first week sales were 55k behind GT4's (last main game) and 440k off lifetime.

Reach on course to overtake MW2 (so far). Doesnt surprise me, as Halo 3 easily outsold Call of Duty 4 and I expect the successors to follow suit. Could still be proven wrong though, depends how well Reach holds up after launch.
