I wonder how many they shipped because VGChartz has it ~80k sales over 5-6 weeks.

Of all the games to buy alongside your ps3, Demon's Souls is a very worthy choice.  LittleBigPlanet would be the only title I'd recommend over it.  Two best games on the system, imo.  Uncharted 2 comes in third, so it's good to see you're getting that as well.

Edit:

Ah, you're also getting Uncharted and God of War?  Two more great choices.  I'd put Unchared around sixth, behind the above four, MGS4, and KZ2.  Right behind Uncharted comes R&C: A Crack in Time (best Ratchet ever, and totally underrated.  Beat this gem just two days ago, and I love it!), then God of War III comes in eigth.

Great that you managed to track down the Black Phantom. I'm really glad it's all but sold out. I just hope the regular release has some decent sales too to ensure if there is another game like it they do a World Wide release from the get go.

So hard, so satisfying, so intense I can't play it for too long at a time.

That interview with the Namco dude says "We haven't done hundreds of thousands" so I take that to mean they've done >100K but <200K. I assume that's shipped to retailers. sold to gamers is probably hovering around the 100K mark. I hope VGC eventually gets it up to 100K in EMEAA. Thing is we know it got an Asia release at the time is came out in Japan. But no sales were ever attributed to Asia. So does that mean VGC put the Asia sales into the Japan numbers?

Nice line up there. But you need Valkyria Chronicles to round out the list; personally I'd get VC before Heavy Rain. Dunno if you have the slightest interest in Move, but at least wait on Heavy Rain until the Move functionality comes out for it and you get some impression on how it plays with Move.

Yeah I'm so happy about the Blak Phantom edition. The package and the strategy guide are extremely nice.

Hopefully Demon's Souls cracks 1 million someday.

Well that would be only 800K but...

Although I can't say for sure if it deserves it because haven't even played it yet.
