Forums - Nintendo - The Conduit 2's Boxart......

pretty badass. But every boxart would have been better than the one in the first game

Around the Network

its great, is simple and its clear.

In the sea of shovelware surrounding it(aside the other good five titles of the season), IT HAS TO Scream I GOT ONLINE AND MULTIPLAYER. In the case of the wii ,they gotta do that to enforce sales, since average consumer has no clue if hes getting an onrailed shooter, a mini game collection or something in between, a ps2 port of a third person shooter, etc. The game doesnt has a huge ad budget to support it so its gotta grab consumers by the balls.Let them pick it, look the back, see if the shots impress them, and decide.

It could be artistically better but this time i had to be down to basics-look a 360 type of game here where you dont expect it- type of box.

in other console it wouldnt be neccesary but on the wii you gotta do it. The impression(justified) of Wii shooters having no online-split screen has to be cleared with this kind of effort.

Looks good! Much better than the first conduit game.

I don't like it looks too different to the first game, is Mr. Ford inside that Halo suit???  Other than that, it looks ok.

wow this looks nothing like the 1st game...

i've seen a lot of gameplay for it, it really lost that scifi and gadgetry theme that was in the first game, now its just another squad based FPS, i don't know  why these guys just keep doing stupid mistakes over and over.

well when I played it at E3 is seemed to be TOO close to number 1, of course that was the multiplayer

When I saw the picture without Wii I actually thought it was Vanquish or Bulletstorm lol.

So we have a Samus Aran Rip off mainin the lead, We got Helgasht to the right and then Master Chief the left?

Box Art sucks... and the " has single player, and oniline and split screen" part is kinda cheesy

Have you forgotten how few Wii FPS actually have that? I maintain the split screen is important for HD systems as well, but for Wii games to not have this in droves yet, when local multiplayer has empyrically been proven to be vital here, then it's not cheesy; it's actually about fucking time.

Its more about how they presented it... like do you really have to say the game has Single and online? I think anybody who's into shooters should already assume that* unless a another Wii FPS didnt have that which im sure there isnt* split screen could pass the other 2 no.

So you don't know how few FPS have split screen on the Wii. The answer is 3: Red Steel, MoH Vanguard, and Quantum of Solace. That's it.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Ew, Conduit doesn't even deserve to be in the same sentance as Gears and Halo

That would be good, though. The original's multiplayer would have been surpassingly excellent with a few tweaks (aside from the painfully necessary bugfixes and cheating problems, anyway). They just needed to create more weapon-sets and change the jumping mechanics somehow to negate bunny-hopping (perhaps a jump meter similar to Monster Hunter's stamina meter), and it would have really shined.

It was the bugs and cheating that were killer, but otherwise it was an addictive experience that could have been made great with a few tweaks.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

When I first gazed my eyes on the box-art, I thought this was a PS360 game in a Nintendo thread and almost type "WTF?!?!?!"

But damn this resemble nothing like the first, looks generic and I find that quite odd, but if this is what they call for a marketing ploy to attract consumers, than I guess it's justified.
