It might not be your thing but playstation emulation is very solid now and getting the roms and emulator for MML is more than worth it.

I'm not completely opposed to the idea for older, unavailable games, but I'd want to look first for a legit copy.  Question though: do you know of any good, easy-to-find Saturn emulators?  My Saturn no longer retains save data after it's turned off, and I don't want to pay more money to buy a memory card just because the hardware has crapped out.

Hey you just need a 5$ battery. You dont even need to unscrew the saturn, the battery is accessible by a trap in the back. The battery can be purchase at any wal-mart. I changed mine lately because shining force 3 episode 2 and 3 is now available on the net with english patch. You need an original CD to use disc swap method to play burned CD. Please note playing burnt saturn CDs doesnt cause any prejudice to Sega since they arent selling original saturn games anymore.

Your ideas intrigue me and I would like to subscribe to your magazine.  I'd figured the battery was some proprietary device which hasn't been manufactured since 1999...

Hey, that's the same battery used for replacing SNES game save batteries! ...I think it works in Gameboy games, too?
