Unfortunate they've gone the opposite way to a billion, never realised the Kin could be such a big failure.

MS should be optimisitic about the next 2 Q's though, especially Q2 2011, what with all the high prices on everything.

Maybe, Win7 mobile will be out then and if it doesn't do well vs Droid/iPhone they will see another big loss in replacement of kin.

Waiting to find out diffrence between MS & VGZ figures.

why? wont tell yolu antging...  remember they will have been shutting down supply of the old model.

Remember PS3 shortages lasted till June, Sony was passing out old Slim model.

1.5 million shipped for 360. Total shipped so far 41.7 till June.

Will Kin cause any more losses now?

24 billion USD operating income.

2 fucking billion per month!

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

VGZ around 40.7 million sold for 360 till June. Diffrence of just 1 million between shipped and sold.

So Xbox still made about $1 billion in profits during the Fiscal year if not more (despite the EDD division profit being what, $700 mill?), correct?

Anyone know how much Microsfts total console bussiness is on the red since the start, and a rough estimate how much they've lost on the X360?

do you think they ship big numbers just before the redesign of the console? 1 million in stores right before a new version is released seems to be very accurate IMO

Spot on tracking then. I was afraid that VGC had overtracked the X360 but apparently not.

The gap to PS3 might actually be over 5 million still.
